UK Slalom British Open at Lee Valley White Water Centre

This weekend The UK Slalom British Open was held at Lee Valley White Water Centre, two days of competition on a great course. For me this was an excuse to try out the Olympus 300 F4 Pro on loan from Olympus. Not my go to kit for sports, though I had heard good reports and with the focus tracking so much improved on the EM1 Mk2 and opportunity not to miss. With the Olympus sensor these were all shot at 600mm or 840mm (with the 1.4 converter) all shots were handheld. A pretty impressive piece of kit,  You can judge the results for yourself

By chance I met and got talking to Roger Hance an Olympus mentor who was shooting as well. Thoroughly nice guy and with some great set up tips for shooting Olympus. check his work out here  https://www.olympus-imagespace.co.uk/photographers/roger-hance
