Always up for a spectacle, whilst on holiday in North Wales and on an early morning walk we stumbled on some locomotive manoeuvres at Porthmadog Station. The team preparing a special train for the Snowdon run. Huge thanks to Phil Brown (locomotive manager) that’s him RH middle picture standing, who explained what was happening allowed access pretty much anywhere and answered a hundred and one questions.
For those interested, all photos taken on the Olympus EM1 and 12-100 mm f4. This has to be one of the best go to travel combinations with a great range (24-200mm @ 35mm) in lens stabilisation and weatherproofing
