Privileged to be accredited to photograph the final round of the Formula E Grand Prix held over three days at ExCel London. This is quite a unique event, some of the fastest accelerating cars driving a circuit that mixes indoor and outside environments and supported year on year by extremely passionate and vocal supporters. Am enjoyable challenge to have to capture this sport.

Delighted to be comissioned to capture the spirit and activities of ChessFest London 2026 at Trafalgar Square this July, organised by Chess in Schools with free entry for everyone and now an establlshed event on the calender inviting masters and grand masters from around the globe to participate and take on anyone attending the event. Among the centrepieces are live chess with actors playing out real matches, blindfold cheess and transatlantic matches. As an event this is a great demonstation of how the game of chess attracts all ages and cultures.

Three years and some thirty events later I am constantly in awe of both what London Youth Games offer the young involved in sport, and the quality and passion that the events display. A perfect setting to photograph London’s future sporting great. This event is their Basketball qualifier held at the UEL Sportsdock last month.

The V&A East opened last week on the edge of the Olympic Park at Stratford. Yet another success to the regeneration of the park. The opening exhibition ‘The Music is Black’ is a wonderful statement for a new venue. The building itself is simply stunning and a reason for a return visit with a camera. Designed by architects O’Donnell + Tuomey the interior balances what I can only descibe as intrigue, scale and intimacy in equal parts.
A fabulous opportunity to photograph Bobsleigh at the IBSF Europa Cup at Innsbruck Austria. A huge thanks to the Innsbruck Olympia world team for accreditation, making us feel welcome and providing such great access to photograph this event.
A few photographs from a pre Christmas visit to Miami, strange to believe that I have never visited before, The South beach provided great walking, some wonderful December weather and the home of some great examples of US Art Deco.

Such a great event. my second year photographing this for UKSportpics. Two days of practice, qualifying and racing, the London event of the Formula E World Championships completes the season. With a unique track running around and through the centre of Excel it provides challenging racing and a wide variety of opportunities to photograph this dynamic sport
After the UK’s hosting Sail GP at Cowes in its inaugural season and Plymouth afterwards, its been 3 years since the circuit returned to the UK. Portsmouth was selected as the venue and they put on a pretty special show with the sailing course close to the shore making it quite a spectator sport and the action close enough for a wide range of photographic opportunities. GB made the final after an impressive first day though lost out to New Zealand who took the honours. A privilege to cover this event for UKSportspics
