RLB at The Stonex

A dream assignment for me mixing work and sports. Quantity Surveyor’s RLB in preparation for the surveyors sevens tournament in May brought staff from across their UK offices to Saracens home at the Stonex Stadium in North London. Warm ups, touch rugby and netball followed by a social at the F1 experience in the evening. Such a great way to bring people together, promote team works and demonstrate some of the RLB principles

GAA London vs Donegal

My first experience of Hurling courtesy of Coiste CLG Contae Londian GAA and the opportunity to photograph London GAA vs Donegal in the Allianz National League at McGovern Park. A fast moving game with 15 on each side and a pitch 140×85 metres. The match ran close throughout the hour with Donegal finally coming out on top by 2 points.

Haringey Huskies 2022

Quite a year for the Huskies who have strengthened their squad, come second in the league and gained a well earned place in the final of the Wilkinson Cup at the close of the season. They always make a exciting evening for the spectator, and now have sizeable and loyal following. Alexandra Palace remains their home and has been filled to capacity more than a few times this year. I am delighted again to be the Huskies ‘de facto’ photographer and I am happy to share images from the 2021-2022 season here

London Playing Fields Foundation

So enjoyed capturing moments for our new client London Playing Fields Foundation both at their playing fields and summer London fund raising social at the Oval. Without their work London would be poorer in sporting facilities for all, and by a long way. Please check out here for more details https://www.lpff.org.uk/

Saracens ARFC

saracens_logo

Privileged to roam the touchline its a wonderful opportunity to capture amateur rugby action and the players from all angles. Great spirit hard fought matches and a true team ethos sums up this club from this photographers viewpoint. I am always pleased to return and shoot a match here at Bramley Road.

Sail GP Cowes

SailGPlogo

SailGP, the fastest sail racing in the world, arrived in the UK to make its debut on European waters at Cowes on the Isle of Wight. These catamarans foil to gain speed and topped 50 knots for the first time at Cowes.

My assignment for UKSportspics to cover the penultimate round of this new sport on the Sunday.  Saturday’s racing being cancelled due to winds being just too strong.

Strong winds returned on the Sunday, with this and shooting from a rib made this  exciting and at times nigh on impossible to hold a frame. Short zooms fared best though much of the credit goes to the rib skipper and his ability to place us close to the action. Tom Slingsby and Australia won all three races and in the following round in Marseilles the championship. Look out for the return of SailGP in 2020.
